Below you will see a few different variations of a strawberry pineapple smoothie.

A classic strawberry-pineapple smoothie (for those just want to enjoy a regular great-tasting smoothie) and variations such as a weight gaining (or mass building recipe for those who are into working out) as well as a slimming smoothie recipe (for those of you wanting to tone your physique).

Last but not least, don't forget to have a good blender. You don't have to have a heavy duty blender but at the same time you don't want to have a blender that is too weak for the job. You need a good blender that can handle basic smoothie-making tasks such as being able to shred frozen strawberries and other fruits with relative ease. It also needs to be able pulverize hard ice cubes with ease.

We always suggest buying blenders with glass containers and with stainless steel bases because they will last longer.


Classic Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of pineapple juice
  • 6 to 8 large-sized strawberries
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 8 to 10 ice cubes
  • 2 or 3 drops of liquid Stevia (optional)

Blending Instructions:

Put the milk in first followed by the strawberries and then everything else. If you opt to add some Stevia then do so after you have blended everything for at least 30 seconds on high speed (setting/speed 3 or 4 on your blender).


Strawberry-Pineapple Muscle-BuildingSmoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of pineapple juice
  • 4 to 6 large-sized frozen strawberries
  • 8 ounces (300ml) of water
  • 1 strawberry yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon creatine
  • 1 teaspoon flax seed oil
  • 2 1/2 scoops vanilla whey protein

Blending Instructions:

Pour the water in first followed by the whey protein and creatine and then everything else. Blend for 15 seconds at medium setting then stop and allow everything to settle for few seconds. After, blend for another 15 to 20 seconds on high speed (setting/speed 3 or 4 on your blender).


Strawberry-Pineapple Slimming Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (300 ml) of pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed oil
  • 6 frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat sour cream
  • 6 drops of liquid Stevia (optional)

Blending Instructions:

Pour the water in first followed by everything else. Blend for 15 to 20 seconds on high speed (setting/speed 3 or 4 on your blender).
