Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
Looking for a strawberry smoothie recipe? Well, you are at the right place. We love strawberry smoothies and believe that it is by far one of the most popular flavors out there.
On this page we will give you a few different variations of a strawberry smoothie recipe. A regular strawberry smoothie (for those who simply want to enjoy a great tasting smoothie now and again) and some variations such as a weight gaining (or mass building recipe for those who are into working out and want to bulk-up) as well as a slimming smoothie recipe (for those of you wanting to tone your physique).
Of course, don't forget to equip yourself with the right "tools" for the job. By this we mean having a good blender. Now, you don't have to have a heavy duty blender like they have at professional smoothie shops but at the same time you don't want to have a blender that is too weak. You need a good medium-range blender that can handle basic smoothie-making tasks such as being able to shred frozen strawberries and other fruits with relative ease. It will also have to be able to dice ice cubes as well.
Our suggestion is to buy blenders with a glass container and with a stainless steel base for longer life. Plastic ones just aren't up to par.

Classic Strawberry Shake
- 10 ounces of water (350 ml)
- 10 frozen strawberries
- 6 tablespoons of low-fat sour cream
- 12 to 15 drops of liquid Stevia (natural sweetener)
- 1 raw egg (this is for added consistency)
Put everything in the blender and blend first at low speed for 15 seconds and then stop until everything settles and then blend again for another 15 seconds at a higher setting. After this you are done and ready to enjoy this delicious strawberry smoothie recipe!
Strawberry Mass Building Protein Shake (to be taken before and/or after a workout)
- 4 scoops vanilla whey protein
- 8 ounces (300 ml) of water
- 1 strawberry yoghurt
- 4 frozen strawberries
- 1 teaspoon creatine
- 1 teaspoon flax seed oil
Put the water in first followed by everything else and blend at high speed for 30 seconds. After that let everything settle back down inside the blender and if you see any chunks of strawberries blend for another 10 or 15 seconds. If you have a really powerful blender most likely the first 30 seconds will do the job.
Strawberry Slimming Smoothie
(can be taken as a meal replacement or after workouts)
- 8 ounces (300 ml) of water
- 1 tablespoon flax seed oil
- 8 frozen strawberries
- few drops of liquid Stevia (natural sweetener) - optional
- 2 raw egg white (take out the yolk)
This smoothie is best for women that are looking to slim down a bit. If you are a guy looking to cut-up because you are working on your muscle definition we strongly suggest adding 2 scoops of vanilla or strawberry whey protein instead of the 2 raw egg whites.
