Also, remember to have a good blender. By decent we mean a good one that has at least 4 different speed settings on it so it can do whatever you need it to do, be it pulverizing ice-cubes or shredding hard frozen fruit. Getting a good blender is well worth the investment! I say this from the perspective of a person that drinks protein smoothies 2 to 3 times every day.
Low Calorie Peaches & Cream Smoothie Ingredients: - 8 ounces (300 ml) water
- 2 ripe peaches (peeled)
- 2 tablespoons low-fat sour cream
- 6 drops of liquid Stevia (optional - depending on how sweet you like your smoothies)
Low Calorie Tropical Blast Smoothie Ingredients: - 8 ounces (300 ml) of water
- 1/2 tablespoon pineapple extract
- 1/2 tablespoon coconut extract
- 1/2 frozen or fresh banana (if fresh add 5 or 6 ice cubes)
- few drops of liquid Stevia (optional)
Low Calorie Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients: - 8 ounces (300 ml) of water
- 6 to 8 frozen strawberries
- 1 tablespoon flax seed oil
- few drops of liquid Stevia (optional)
